I started on the horn with a concert band in Amsterdam. After a few years I switched to euphonium and eventually to bass tuba.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">At the conservatory, I switched from minoring in euphonium to minoring in trombone while studying brass band conducting. After six months as a minor in trombone, I was admitted to the 1st\u00a0year major in trombone (classical) and I graduated in 1999.<\/p><p>I have been playing guitar and bass guitar since I was a teenager and have played in various formations: from blues, hard rock, pop and jazz bands to big bands.
